Morena: Major negligence has come to the fore in the district hospital of Morena in Madhya Pradesh. Here women were made to lie on the ground after the sterilization operation. Because of this, women appeared troubled by pain as well as cold during the winter season. Actually, sterilization operation of women was done in the district hospital. Thereafter, the hospital staff admitted the woman. But, she was not provided a bed. Most of the women were not given beds after the operation. Some women were given beds, but two women each had to lie on one bed. 

The same women were seen lying on the floor after the operation in this winter season. Seeing the woman of the family present with them lying on the ground, they looked upset. When the sterilized women were lying on the ground, chilling with the cold, their family members were covering them with blankets, so that they would not get cold. Women were groaning in pain after sterilization.

Although, many beds were seen lying vacant in other wards of the hospital, but women were not made to lie on these beds. Due to the negligence of the hospital management, women were forced to lie on the ground after the operation in the winter season. At the same time, the hospital management said that they do not have enough beds. Regarding this matter, Surendra Singh Gurjar, RMO, District Hospital, Morena, said, "A sterilization camp is going on in our District Hospital, Morena. The women who come in this are operated upon after a thorough examination. They are made to lie on the bed and after that, they are sent away. If an extra woman would have come and the staff would not have seen her, she would have laid down. We have enough beds. The hospital has all the arrangements."
