Washim: A 17-year-old boy died after being run over by a mini-truck in Maharashtra's Washim district, police said on Sunday. A video of the case has also surfaced. In this, the boy riding a scooty is seen coming under the mini-truck coming from the front. He was going to pick up his brother. Brother standing at a distance of 500 meters from the spot kept waiting.
The incident took place near the Chandanwadi area of Karanja town in the district. At 5 pm on Tuesday, 17-year-old Mohammad Syed Akmal (Tipu), a class X student, was going to pick up his brother on scooty. Akmal's father runs a second-hand vehicle business. In the video of the case, it can be clearly seen that Mohammad is seen going on a scooty at high speed. He is not even wearing a helmet. Just then, seeing the mini-truck coming from the front, he lost his balance and came under the truck.

Before the truck driver could understand anything, the truck had already passed over the body of Mohammad Syed Akmal. After the incident, a crowd gathered at the spot. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance, but the doctors declared him brought dead. Mohammad's brother was waiting for him just 500 meters away from where the accident took place. Later, he got the news of his brother's death in the accident. Mohammad's death has spread mourning in the whole family.
