While filing a caveat, the Central Government has said that the court must also hear the side of the Center before taking any decision on this issue. Let us inform that a new scheme has come for recruitment in the Central Government Army. It is named as Agneepath scheme. In this, the army will be recruited for four years, in which the initial six months will be of training. 25% of the Agniveers of each batch will be inducted into the Indian Army permanently (15 years and more). While the rest Agniveer will retire. On retirement, he will also get a deposit of about 12 lakh rupees, with the help of which he can do some other work.
People in the age group of 17 and a half years to 21 years can be admitted under Agneepath scheme. In the first year, the government has also given a relaxation of two years. Meaning this time youth up to 23 years can apply. Year after year the salary of Agniveers will increase, it will start from 30 thousand to 40 thousand. But Agniveers will not get the benefit of pension, gratuity etc. They will also not be given the facility of canteen available to the soldiers.
