The Indian men's hockey team's hopes of winning the FIH Pro League hockey title were shattered after a 1-2 defeat against Holland in the second match of the two-leg match here on Sunday. India needed to register a win against Holland to maintain their modest hopes of winning the title but the India team has not been able to achieve success. Holland won the men's title with 35 points from 14 matches with two matches left to go. The Olympic champions Belgium finished second with 35 points from 16 matches, while India finished third with 30 points from 16 matches.
