Recently, a case has come into light from Shivhar. According to reports, three children were killed on Thursday when they drowned down in Bagmati river in Piprahi block. The children who died are Bashiyan village resident Rizwan (14), Nawazish (13) and Akib (12). The three children reportedly went to the river to bathe as usual and went into deep water. While for rescuing Akib, the two other children drowned in the swift flow of the river and people on the spot saw the body of a child.

Hearing the noise of the children, the people rushed to the spot and when their children did not reach their homes, the housemates also reached there. Police rushed to the spot on a tip off about the bodies of the children in the river and the NDRF team rushed to the spot to search for the children and recovered the bodies of the three children after a long search in about two hours.

DM Arshad Aziz and SP Santosh Kumar rushed to the spot to take a report of the situation whereas by acknowledging family members of the victims, bodies sent to Shivhar post-mortem. There was also a report of two girls drowning in the past, which was shocking.
