New Delhi: The central government's Agneepath scheme is witnessing arson and violence across the country. In many parts of the country, youth have come on the road with sticks and sticks. Public properties are being ransacked. Meanwhile, Congress President Sonia Gandhi has put forth her side on the scheme.

Congress working president Sonia Gandhi said, "I am sad that the scheme announced by the government to recruit a new army ignoring your voice is completely directionless. Because  not only the youth, but many ex-servicemen and defence experts are also questioning this plan. The Congress president said that our party promises to fight with full force to get this scheme back and to protect your interests. The Congress stands with you with full firmness. "We will raise your voice by walking on the path of truth- non-violence and peace like a true patriot. 

Sonia Gandhi said, "I urge you to demonstrate peacefully and in a non-violent manner for your legitimate demands. "Even after having lakhs of vacancies in the army, I can understand the pain of not being recruited for the last three years. I also have full sympathy with the youth waiting for the result and appointment by appearing for the recruitment test in the Air Force.
