Ahead of Amit Shah's Visit to Meghalaya, State Govt Issues Traffic Guidelines, No Entry Zones

Shillong: Union home minister Amit Shah will be in the northeast to meet the chief ministers of the northeastern states, is also expected to visit rain-renowned Sohra (Cherrapunjee) during his two-day visit to the state, chief minister Conrad K. Sangma said on Friday. 

That 1he Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will be visiting Shillong & Sohm on the 24th & 25th July 2021. Therefore, in view of lite safe and smooth passage of the VVIP during his visit and for better convenience of the general public, citizens of Shillong and adjoining areas arc hereby requested 10 avoid journey in and around Shillong city unless required or for emergency purposes.

24th July 2021 from 2:00 PM till the departure of the VVIP 

2 Matri Mandir towards 4th Furlong 
24th July 2021 from 2:00 PM till the departure of the VVIP

3 Pinewood Jn. towards YWCA / CS Jn 
24th July 2021 from 2:00 PM till the departure of the VVIP

4 YWCA, Camel Back Road townrds All India Radio and vice 
24th July, 2021 from 2:00 PM & 25th July, 2021 from 7:00 AM till departure of the VVI P
