Ahmedabad: A case of shame to humanity has come to light in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A newborn baby in The Amaraiwadi area is left on the first floor of an unknown apartment. People who arrived on the first-floor stairs heard the baby crying immediately reported it to the police. This is the second case of leaving the child within 15 days. Police from Mahalaxmi Nagar police station who rushed to the spot after receiving information about the discovery of the newborn in an unclaimed condition on the apartment staircase rushed him to the hospital for treatment and started investigating the case. The incident took place in an apartment at Mahalaxmi Nagar in the Amaraiwadi area.

A newborn baby was crying in front of Ganpati's statue on the first floor of the apartment. Local women rushed there after hearing the baby crying. The women later informed the people around them. Local philanthropist Harshad Patel informed the police. According to Harshad Patel, the age of the child is estimated to be one day. He is undergoing treatment at LG Hospital. The police team is trying to find out who left the child.

Just a few days ago, a child was also found on the stairs of the Srinandnagar apartment in Wejalpur in the city. However, local women had caught the woman fleeing the child. The woman then revealed that the newborn belonged to her and had decided to leave the baby when she became a virgin mother. A 10-month-old baby was also found on October 8 at Gaushala in Pethapur, Gandhinagar.
