Chennai: On November 9, AIADMK will stage a protest against the DMK government over the release of water from the Mullaperiyar dam. FourKites, a supply chain visibility tech platform, has announced that it is expanding its operations in India, with the addition of two new executive leaders to its APAC leadership board. Rashi Jain has been named managing director, and Sriram Nagaswamy has been named vice-president, engineering, to help FourKites accelerate its strategic global expansion from its engineering headquarters in Chennai.

FourKites uses machine learning to accurately predict exact arrival times, based on data from two million daily shipments. It helps leading brands lower operating costs, improve on-time performance, and improve customer relationships.

Over the next six months, the company plans to hire more than 100 engineers in India, with expertise in front end, OCR, backend, NLP, AI, and DevOps, among other areas. In India, FourKites already employs over 250 people in engineering, product development, and operations, according to the company's officer.
