NEW DELHI: All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), an autonomous body under AYUSH Ministry, on Monday officially launched the Ayurveda Day 2022 programme.
All India Institute of Ayurveda has been selected as the nodal agency for driving the Ministry of Ayush's mandate for Ayurveda Day this year. The theme for the celebration is 'Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda'.
Sarbananda Sonowal, Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Ayush, Dr. Munjpara Mahendrabhai Kalubhai, Minister of State for Ayush, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, P.K. Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, and Vaidya Jayant Deopujari, Chairperson, NCSIM, were all virtually present for the six-week-long program's Ayur.
The programme began with the lighting of the lamps and a welcoming presentation from Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Nesari, Director, AIIA, who provided an overview of the agenda and emphasised the major activities that will take place over the coming weeks. Several governments of India ministries will take part in the initiative, which aims to promote the 3Js--Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari, and Jan Aandolan.
The success of this programme will only be possible if we are able to reach every citizen of India, so over the coming weeks, we will focus all of our energies to interact with and sensitise the people so that the message of Ayurveda can percolate down to all levels. "Har Ghar Ayurveda" emphasises raising awareness of the benefits of Ayurveda.
