AIIMS director Randeep Guleria said that talking about Italy, Spain or America, we are well aware of what has happened there. Not only India but the entire southeastern countries have a low mortality rate of coronavirus. Regarding community transmission, Guleria said that there is not enough evidence that this is happening across the country. However, there are many hotspots in the country, where cases of corona are increasing very rapidly, due to which it can be said that there is a local transmission.
He said that this is why cases in hotspots are increasing so much. According to media reports, he said that there are many areas which have reached their peak, Delhi has reached its peak, so cases are decreasing here. There are many areas that have not yet touched the peak of the epidemic, so new cases are still increasing there. They will be at their peak in a few days.
