New Delhi: Both Houses of Parliament have already approved the triple talaq bill. Now, it is only waiting for President Ram Nath Kovind's approval to become a law, but Muslim organizations are not willing to accept this reality. All India Muslim Personal Law Board convener Zafariyab Jilani has announced to challenge the bill in the Supreme Court. Jilani has said that a final decision on the appeal will be taken in the apex court at the board meeting.

It is worth mentioning here that the bill against triple talaq was passed in the Rajya Sabha yesterday after the Congress' protests and the Muslim women in the country got rid of the hell of triple talaq. Now, triple talaq in the country will be considered a crime after the approval of President Ram Nath Kovind and the person who does so will be sentenced to three years in jail.

On the other hand, Muslim women across the country have started celebrating their victory as soon as the bill is passed. The celebration is as if freedom has been achieved after years of slavery. Muslim women were happy because they would no longer leave the law to evict them from their homes. Now, they will also be heard in the law and those who do injustice will not be spared.
