New Delhi: Indian airline Air India has announced the resumption of all flights to and from the United Kingdom. Air India company said all flights to UK will be restored from May 1. In view of the increasing cases of corona, the UK had banned all flights from April 24-30.

UK put India on its red list, which means that corona virus cases are increasing very fast in these countries and all flights to and from here are being banned. Air India on Wednesday informed that flights to Mumbai and London will be taken up from May 1. Flights from the national capital Delhi to London will be held on May 2. At the same time, the company has informed that flights from Bengaluru to London will also be taken up, but they will start from May 5.

Air India has informed that tickets can be booked from the company's official website, mobile app, call centre and other places. However, the company has appealed to all its passengers to read all the guidelines thoroughly before travelling as the UK has set strict norms.
