New Delhi: Punjab Kings (PBKS) beat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 34 runs in the 26th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021), which is followed by tremendous enthusiasm among cricket fans and players. Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul has made a big statement after being overwhelmed by the victory.

Captain Rahul has said that he needed to come forward and lead the team. PBKS defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 34 runs in the 26th match of the 14th season of the IPL played at the Narendra Modi Stadium here thanks to Harpreet Brar's strong bowling after a brilliant inning by skipper KL Rahul (91 not out). Rahul said after the match, "On such a pitch, we thought a spinner was needed. But Brar came and did his job in both batting and bowling. I keep sharing the experience of the cricket I have played with everyone. The last four matches have been must-win so I came from the front and led."

Rahul said, "A lot is said about Gayle but I know how important his impact is. Chris has been batting at No.3 for the team for two years. Harpreet Brar of PBKS, who scored an unbeaten 25 in the match and then took three wickets in bowling, won the Man of the Match award.
