New Delhi: Air India has taken a new step towards passenger amenities. Under this new step, the airline has decided to make its website a fresh preparation, as per the convenience of the passengers. The website's upgradation work will be completed by the end of this month. After which, many facilities will not require travelers to go to the travel agent and the airline's booking window, but they'll be able to get these features directly from the airline's website.
According to a high Air India official, the airline's website is being upgraded in a phased manner. As the website upgrades are complete, facilities for travelers will be available on the website. The first phase of the website upgradation will be completed by the end of this month, he added. After completion of this phase, passengers will be able to choose various fares on the airline website. At the same time, your travel date and ticket cancellation process will also be completed through the website.
He said that the use of frequent flyer Mailes will also be able to be used by Air India passengers through the website. Also, travelers will be able to choose their preferred seat through the website before traveling. Premium seats like front-row and emergency-row will also be selected through the airline's website now.
