Air India has tweeted from its Twitter handle that Ranchi, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Bhopal, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Tirupati and Cochin have been included in the newly added routes. Flights to major metros are commencing from existing airports in these cities.

Experts say that many private airlines can also expand the routes of their flights soon. Indigo and Go Air are considering it. There can be an official confirmation from these companies soon.
