After increasing the prices of its recharge plans, Bharti Airtel has launched new 5G data booster plans starting at ₹51. These plans are designed to provide additional data benefits to users who want to access 5G services but have a daily data limit of less than 2GB.

Airtel had earlier announced that only users with a daily data limit of 2GB or more would be eligible for 5G services on its network. However, with the new data booster plans, users with a daily data limit of 1GB or 1.5GB can also access 5G services by paying an additional ₹51, ₹101, or ₹151.

The new data booster plans offer additional 4G data benefits along with 5G data. Users who opt for the ₹51 plan will get 3GB of additional 4G data, while those who opt for the ₹101 plan will get 6GB of additional 4G data. The ₹151 plan offers 9GB of additional 4G data.

The validity of the additional data and 5G data booster plans will be the same as the user's existing plan. Airtel's move is seen as a bid to counter Reliance Jio's similar 5G data booster plans, which were launched a few weeks ago.

Jio's data booster plans, priced at ₹51, ₹101, and ₹151, offer similar benefits to Airtel's plans. However, Jio's plans have a slightly different condition. Jio's ₹51 plan offers 3GB of additional 4G data along with daily 5G data, while the ₹101 plan offers 6GB of additional 4G data. The ₹151 plan offers 9GB of additional 4G data.

Airtel's new data booster plans are likely to benefit users who want to access 5G services but have a lower daily data limit. With the additional data benefits, users can enjoy seamless 5G connectivity without worrying about running out of data.

In conclusion, Airtel's new 5G data booster plans are a welcome move for users who want to access 5G services without breaking the bank. With additional data benefits and affordable pricing, Airtel is likely to attract more users to its 5G network. The competition between Airtel and Jio is expected to intensify in the coming days, with both operators vying for market share in the 5G space.
