Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is proud that her father-in-law Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan has won the national award for best actor, and says every performance of the megastar and legend of Bollywood deserves to be celebrated.

Sr. Bachchan was honoured with best actor award for 'Piku' on March 2 which is directed by Shoojit Sircar.

Aishwarya said,"It is not the first time (he is winning the national award). He deserved it. We are very very proud that Paa (Bachchan) won the national award yet again for a performance he deserved,"

She added,"I feel every performance of him deserves to be celebrated by the audience and members of the media”

Dhoom 2 starrer Aish said, "I thank you for all the love. Thank you for all the congratulatory messages. We love Paa and god bless him for entertaining us,"
