Guwahati: A day after the Congress aligned with the Left parties, such as CPI, CPI, CPI(M), CPI (Male), and Acharik Gana Morcha, to oust the Bjp from the power of Assam, Ajmal has made a very provocative and communal speech in Dhubri.
On January 20, while addressing a rally in the Gauripur area of Dhubri district in Assam, the AIUDF chief tried to instill fear in Muslims against the BJP by making some highly inflammatory statements. He alleged that if the BJP comes to power again in the state, it will destroy mosques, and many bans will be imposed on Muslims in the state. He said, "BJP is the enemy, the enemy of the country, the enemy of India, the enemies of women, the enemies of mosques, the enemies of the beard, the enemies of divorce, the enemies of the Babri Masjid.”
Badruddin Ajmal added that "Will you vote for a party like this? Now you need to be more careful. If you are not careful, and if the BJP comes to power again in Assam, you will not be allowed to come to the burqa, you will not be able to get out of the house with a beard on the face, you will not be allowed to wear these skullcaps, you will not be allowed to give an azan in mosques. Will we be able to live in a place like this?"
