New Delhi: India's Test batsman Ajinkya Rahane is out of the team these days. He has been excluded due to poor form. However, he has not given up hope and is busy preparing for his comeback. But in the meantime, Rahane has given a shocking statement. He says that in the last three years, not only his, but star batsmen Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara's Test averages have also reduced. Ajinkya Rahane said that there has been no decrease in his batting over the years. He believes that everything is happening because of the pitch. Rahane said, 'Middle-order batsmen had to face difficulties due to the pitch. It is easy for the openers because they get a hard ball, but when a batsman gets out, we think where did we go wrong? I don't want to prove anything, but one thing is sure, I will never give up. I want to get back to the style of batting that I used to play when I was young. I scored whenever the team required and we won the matches as well.'
