Raliance chair person Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani's elder son, Akash Ambani tied knowt with Shloka Mehta, daughter of diamond merchant Russell Mehta and Mona Mehta on March 9. The lavish wedding took place at the Jio garden in Mumbai and was attended by many prominent celebrities from the film, sports and political world. The celebrations are in full swing as Akash and Shloka will host their wedding reception tonight at the same venue. In an adorable video, Akash is seen putting ‘Sindoor’ on the head of Sholka and mangalsutra around her neck.

For her big day, Shloka wore a custom-made hand-embroidered Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla creation. She looked beautiful beyond belief in a red lehenga with heavy gold embroidery which she teamed up with layered diamond jewellery. Akash, on the other hand, looked his dapper self in an ivory and gold sherwani. After the larger-than-life wedding, the Ambani and the Mehta family hosted the newlyweds' first post-wedding bash last night.
Bollywood biggies including Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar among others graced the celebration with their presence. While all the celebs looked super-stylish, the newlyweds and their family members too kept their best fashion foot forward.
