Prayagraj: AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who questioned PM Modi's involvement in the Bhoomi Pujan of the proposed Ram temple construction in Ayodhya on August 5, has reacted sharply to the Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the largest organization of saints. Akhara Parishad chief Mahant Narendra Giri has said that Owaisi has no right to question the faith of Sanatan religions. Owaisi should understand that Modi ji is a Hindu first, then the PM of the country.

Mahant Narendra Giri said that Owaisi does politics on everything and he does not like any work done in the country. Mahanta has advised Owaisi that he should not only watch live telecast of Bhoomi Pujan on TV on August 5, but should also chant Ram Naam full time. Mahant Narendra Giri said that the AIMIM chief should keep chanting Ram along with taking the name of Allah on August 5.

According to the head of the Akhara Council, Owaisi neither has the right knowledge of his religion nor Sanatan Dharma. They only engage in spoiling the environment of the country. For Sanatan Dharmis, there is first religion and Rama, followed by constitution. He has said that we have full faith in the Constitution and respect it too, but this Constitution cannot be more than Ram. According to him, with the commencement of the construction of Shri Ram's temple, there is a festive atmosphere across the country and PM Modi's participation in the ceremony will not violate the constitution in any way, because the temple construction is being done on the basis of the decision of the top court.
