Lucknow: Former Union Minister of the country Yashwant Sinha, who arrived in Lucknow for the last several days against the CAA Gandhi Peace Tour, said that this law is completely unconstitutional. He said that the Home Minister of the country, Amit Shah, said in Lucknow that this law will not be withdrawn even if there is opposition, where his statement is undemocratic. It is also being said that the government is working against the people. There was no need for this law because the government already has the right to give citizenship of the country to whomever but this law has been brought to divert the attention of people from serious issues like economy and unemployment.

According to the information received, Yashwant Sinha is taking out a Gandhi Shanti Yatra against the CAA which has reached Uttar Pradesh via Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan. The yatra will conclude on 30 January at Rajghat in Delhi. The yatra started from the Gateway of India on 9 January as Mahatma Gandhi landed here from South Africa.
