New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh election polls were very heartbreaking for Samajwadi-Congress alliance, as Bharatiya Janata Party defeated the coalition parties badly with a huge difference in seats.

After facing such a painful defeat, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav made sarcastic comments, by taunting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP citizens.

Akhilesh's stated in his statement, "I think the new government in power will work even better than the SP. It's possible people didn't like the great Expressway we built and they voted for a bullet train. We built great roads may be the people of UP were not happy with that and want even better roads? Maybe the BJP will build even better roads."

Yadav said, "We waived Rs 16,000 crores of farmers' debt. Now I'm hoping the BJP waives debts of farmers all across India."

Akhilesh expressed his delight about the alliance with Congress saying that "I'm happy about the alliance with the Congress and I believe the alliance may remain in the times to come, as well."
