Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav said the ruling BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which are apprehensive of defeat in the upcoming assembly elections in the state, had recently held meetings in several districts including Chitrakoot to chalk out a "conspiracy strategy". Akhilesh Yadav said the party high command has become well aware of the people's deep dissatisfaction with the ruling BJP government.

Akhilesh further said, "Frustrated to see power slipping out of its hands in the upcoming assembly elections, BJP and RSS have held meetings in Chitrakoot, Vrindavan and Lucknow in a month. The agenda of these meetings is to devise a conspiracy strategy so that the promises made to farmers and crores of unemployed youth can be forgotten in some way and new ways are found to mislead the people.'' Akhilesh said that "BJP has nothing to count in the name of its achievement and bjp's mother organisation i.e. Sangh is concerned about these situations and is constantly meditating."

Akhilesh Yadav said that when the maze of BJP's promises to grab power by making false promises in 2017 has started to unfold, marathon meetings in Lucknow after a five-day workshop in Chitrakoot and Vrindavan of RSS with the BJP have made it clear that the door is with the Sangh and the BJP is its puppet.
