Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former CM Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday attacked the BJP over the issue of rising prices. Akhilesh Yadav blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the issue of price rise, saying it has become a "company" that is recovering "increased costs" from the public.

Akhilesh tweeted from his official Twitter handle, "In today's inflationary era, companies are charging the rising costs from the public but are not reducing their profits. In a democracy, the role of the government is not to rule, but to make policies that control the public interest, so that no one can exploit and harass the people. The BJP has become a company. Akhilesh Yadav has also tagged a news report 'Coast of Living Rise in India Age Company Pass on Higher Prices' along with his tweet.''
