Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has said that he will form an alliance with several smaller parties, including SP, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) and Shivpal Yadav's party to defeat BJP in the upcoming UP assembly elections.

Akhilesh said that as soon as the SP government is formed after the assembly elections, the three laws introduced in the agriculture sector will not be implemented in Uttar Pradesh and at the same time the Mandi network will be strengthened. The SP chief said the ALLIANCE between RLD and Samajwadi Party was also there in the Lok Sabha elections. Both the parties will contest together in the upcoming assembly elections. At the same time, there are other parties like, there are oyjer parties, Sanjay Chauhan's party and discussions are going on with other parties, they will also come with the SP and we will all contest together.

Akhilesh said talks have also been held with them. He refused to disclose anything about the alliance's strategy. When questioned about the alliance with his uncle Shivpal Yadav, Akhilesh said ''Wait and See''.
