Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai, the longest-running television programme, is about to take a small time jump. The current theme of the song centers on Anisha's death after Kairav rejects her, and Abhimanyu (Harshad Chopda) accuses Akshara (Pranali Rathod) of providing for her family. The show will skip a year, and Abhimanyu and Akshara will both be depicted as living apart.

A close friend of the production company said, "Because they discovered a good location, the producers are currently filming in Surat. Following the jump, Akshara will be seen residing in Dr. Kunal's (Mrunal Jain's) home, while Abhimanyu will now concentrate on his career. The separation track is frequently used in TV shows because viewers enjoy seeing the two main actors reunite after a conflict."
