Akshay Kumar will next be seen in the movie 2.0 alongside Rajinikanth . He has now collaborated with Fox Star Studios and Cape Of Good Films for 3 films wherein Khiladi will be seen playing the lead role. The first film to come off from this joint venture will be India's first space movie, Mission Mangal. The movie will be directed by Jagan Shakti and in partnership with R Balki. The shooting for the movie starts in mid-November.

 Akshay Kumar about the same stated that he is delighted to find a new creative partner in Fox Star Studios and looking forward to creating a partnership that will deliver a meaningful and entertaining cinematic experience. He added that with the combined energies they hope to create content that not only excites but also empowers.
