Akshay Kumar on Being the highest taxpayer, you earn, you give…

Akshay Kumar is all set for his upcoming movie Raksha Bandhan. The actor is very famous for making movies based on social problems and social issues. The actor also usually gets trolled for his Canadian Citizenship and users also call him Canadian Kumar. The actor has always been fastidious about paying his taxes and was reportedly honored recently by the Income Tax department as the country's "highest taxpayer".

In a recent interview when the actor was asked about how it feels to be the highest taxpayer in Bollywood. To this, the actor said “ Ji mujhe kaha to yehi gaya hai (about being the highest taxpayer). I am really honoured. It feels great that the Income Tax department recognizes the whole thing and gives credit to people. Also, It's good that when you earn, you give it back to the country."

Bollywood Khiladi also enjoys a massive fan following and various of his fans also support him. As the actress was honored with this certificate one of his fan wrote, "Income Tax Department has felicitated Superstar @akshaykumar with a Samman Patra and termed him highest taxpayer from the Hindi film industry and termed him highest taxpayer from the Hindi film industry. Haters must see this before calling him Canadian."

As the co writer Kanika Dhillion is his earlier tweets mocked the gaumata and wrote , “Dying in the parking lot after waiting for a hospital bed…Yeh aache din hai! India super power hai! Aur gau mata ka mutra peene see Covid chala jayega (These are the good days…India is a super power. And drinking cow’s urine will cure Covid-19).”

On the work front, Akshay will be seen sharing screen space with Bhumi Pednekar in 'Raksha Bandhan', which is scheduled to release on August 11. To note, 'Raksha Bandhan' marks Akshay's second collaboration with Bhumi after their 2017 release 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'.
