'Al Jazeera' spews poison against India and Hindus again

New Delhi: Al Jazeera, which often spreads propaganda by writing anti-India and Hindu articles, has once again spewed poison about Hinduism. In an article published in Al Jazeera on Hindu nationalism, Hindu nationalism has been described as a new problem for the whole world. In this, the controversial website has blamed Indian PM Narendra Modi, BJP and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for spreading the Hindu right wing. Not only this, but Al Jazeera has also considered this as the reason behind the recent attack on Hindus by radical Muslims in Leicester, UK. Al Jazeera on Hindu nationalism has said that the propaganda of Hindutva, political ideology is emerging in a completely new way and its roots are related to the violence in the streets of Indian cities.

The most surprising thing is that this article has not been written by anyone but a person of Indian origin and possibly Hindu Somdeep Sen by religion. Somdeep teaches International Development Studies at Roskilde University in Denmark. He wrote in his Al Jazeera article that on September 17, a young Hindu marches in the streets of Leicester shouting Jai Shri Ram. This slogan has now become like a war cry of Hindu nationalists. Somdeep has written that this is the tough Hindu pride and blind patriotism that Hindu nationalists have been expecting from time immemorial.

The article by Al Jazeera on Hindu nationalism further states that the history of Hindu nationalism and the Conservative Party's collaboration in Britain is very old. Also, this article mentions the 2016 London mayoral elections. According to this, then Conservative candidate Jack Goldsmith had launched an anti-Muslim campaign to defeat his Muslim opposition Labor Party candidate Sadiq Khan. Not only this, the article further states that there were reports that Hindu nationalist groups had campaigned against the Labor Party candidate during the 2019 UK general elections. The reason behind this has been given that the Labor Party candidate Jeremy Corbyn had criticized the Modi government for the action in Kashmir then.

Somdeep has further written in his article that this is not just a problem of Britain. The problem of Hindu nationalism has now become global. He has written that like in Britain, Hindu nationalists have been campaigning for right-wing candidates in America too. He gave the example of 2016. According to him, Hindu-Americans were gathered by Hindu factions for the Republican candidate in the US presidential election at that time.

Let us tell you that Al Jazeera has always been infamous for its anti-India and anti-Hindu stance. This media house gets funding from Muslim countries which promote terrorism. Due to which Islamic terrorism, despite being a global problem, has never been written about it, on the contrary, presents those terrorists as heroes.
