Mumbai: The second case of the sub-variant XE of The Omicron has now come to light in the country's financial capital Mumbai. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) confirmed that the XE variant has now been found in a 67-year-old man in Mumbai's Santacruz. He is said to have gone to Vadodara on March 11 in connection with work, where his health deteriorated after attending a meeting at a hotel. When he was tested for corona, he was confirmed to be infected.

The same Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) informed that even though he was found positive in the corona test, he had no symptoms of the corona, so he returned to Mumbai from Gujarat. When the genome sequencing of his samples was done here, the report revealed that he was infected with the XE variant. Bmc said that the person has taken both doses of the corona vaccine. He has no symptoms of the corona, his condition is stable. 

A few days ago, the BMC had confirmed that an African woman in Mumbai was positive for XE. In Mumbai, a 50-year-old foreign woman who was diagnosed with the XE variant had taken both doses of the corona. The woman was asymptomatic. They had no symptoms of the corona. She came to Mumbai from South Africa on February 10. He didn't even have a travel history before. The same rising cases have added to the problems in Mumbai.
