Bhopal: The Meteorological Department has again issued an orange alert for the next 24 hours in Madhya Pradesh. While earlier the alert was issued in 18 districts of the state, now heavy rain has been warned in 27 districts and very heavy rain in some districts. Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Heavy rains are expected in Satna, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Chhindwara, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Khandwa, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Dewas and Ashoknagar districts.
The meteorological department believes that the effect of this storm will be in Ujjain and Indore divisions. The department has expressed the possibility of strong winds. During this time there is a possibility of falling celestial lightning, due to strong winds, the possibility of uprooting trees has also been expressed. In such a situation, all citizens have been requested to stay in their homes.
Ujjain Collector Ashish Singh has issued guidelines regarding storms to all SDMs and tehsildars and policemen of the district. Also asked to be prepared. So that in an emergency, relief can be provided to common people immediately.
