London: There is uncertainty about bringing Vijay Mallya to India. Indian investigative agencies have denied the report that Vijay Mallya can be brought to Mumbai at any time. Giving information to the media, senior government sources said that India has not received any information in this regard from Britain.

It was being said that Vijay Mallya could be brought to India at any time. But government sources have rejected these reports and they say that they have not received any information from the British administration in this regard yet. On being asked when Vijay Mallya can be extradited? Senior officer closely monitoring the case has said, "We are not aware that the UK Home Secretary signed the documents or not. Until the documents are signed or we are not informed about the status of the case, it will be difficult to predict when Vijay Mallya can be extradited."

According to the Extradition Act, the last date for Britain's Home Office Secretary's signature on documents to send Vijay Mallya to India is 11 June 2020. There is also speculation that Vijay Mallya may file an application for seeking political asylum in Britain. But sources told the media that neither the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) nor the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had received any information from the UK Home Office about this. The Indian High Commission in Britain has also not received any concrete information about this.
