Dehradun: The impact of the highest rainfall in Uttarakhand is now visible in various districts of the state as well as in UP. In Uttar Pradesh, the highway has been inundated due to rain and traffic has been stopped due to this. According to reports, Ramganga in Moradabad and Kosi river in Rampur has been inundated on Lucknow-Delhi National Highway. Traffic has been stopped in view of no accident.

More than 5,000 cusecs of water were released to fill the Kalagarh dam after rain in the mountains. Due to which the Ramganga river overflowed in Moradabad and water entered the villages along the river. In Uttar Pradesh, water has entered several villages of Pilibhit, Moradabad and Rampur. According to reports, the flood crisis has increased in about 100 villages of Moradabad. Because water is being released from the rivers of Uttarakhand.

In Uttar Pradesh, rainwater has also flooded the railway track between Palia-Bhira in Lakhimpur Kheri. Due to this a pair of Melni-Nanpara trains have been cancelled. While some villages in Pilibhit district are also reported to be waterlogged. According to reports, residents had climbed the roof and trees of the village to save their lives due to waterlogging in the villages. Thereafter, eight persons were evacuated by the Air Force team. Locals say that 30 villages in Pilibhit are reeling under floods after water was released from Banbasa in Uttarakhand.
