Algeria: Algerian Energy Minister Mohamed Arkab will participate in Moscow International Energy Week, which is scheduled to take place from October 12-14, according to Smil Benmara, the Algerian ambassador to Russia.
I am pleased to inform you and the Russian energy companies that the Minister of Energy will be in Moscow for the [Russian] International Energy Week from October 12-14,” Benamara said at the St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
"He will be accompanied by the secretary general of Sonatrak, one of the most important oil and gas companies in Algeria, and the chairman and director general of Sonelgaz, Africa's largest power company," he said.
Moscow established the Russian Energy Week International Forum in 2016 to showcase the potential of the Russian fuel and energy industry and to unlock the potential for international cooperation in the region.
The Forum's program this year includes 37 events ranging from import substitution and digital transformation in the oil and gas industries to energy conservation and renewable energy sources.
