The poster was tweeted by Sanjay Dutt's production house official account and wrote, "This is the heir, but will he earn a legacy? Find out soon." "Prasthanam" is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu cult classic of the same name in 2010. The teaser of the film is already a topic of discussion among viewers.

The teaser for the film was released on Sanjay's 60th birthday on July 29. Sanjay and Manisha will be seen sharing the screen in the film after a long time. The pair have previously worked together in films such as Sanam, Kartoos, Achanak, Khauf, and Mehbooba.  'Prasthanam' is scheduled to be released on September 20.
