It has been a year for the huge hit movie 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. The movie also took many awards in the bag. And I think it was the most loved movies of 2017. 

Badrinath Ki Dulhania directed by Shashank Khaitan, the movie was all about an interesting plot and the sizzling on-screen chemistry between Alia and Varun.

 On this special occasion, Alia shared a special post on Twitter saying, ‘’Can’t believe it’s already been 1 YEAR OF BKD. Thank you for giving the dulhania team soo much love always.. An experience so special with the most special people @ShashankKhaitan @Varun_dvn @karanjohar.’’ She also shared a picture with Varun Dhawan from the movie.

Alia played the role of Kavya, while Varun played the role of Badri in the film. Talking about her character, Alia had earlier said, "Kavya (in the first film) is younger, more naive, simpler character. She has one aim in life, to get married, in a lehenga. Whereas Vaidehi (in 'Badri') wants to fly, Ashe doesn't want to only get married. She is a strong, mature, ambition driven, more feminist kind of character.’’

 
Talking about Varun’s character, she had said, ‘’No, he doesn’t play a stalker. Badri is not stalking Vaidehi. From the beginning, we were very clear on this. Varun wouldn’t play a stalker. And I wouldn’t encourage that kind of attention. Yes, the couple has their issues. But she is in love with him all the same.’’
 
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is going to see in Gully boy and Raazi.
