Mehsana: Mehsana Municipality in Gujarat is now witnessing a lot of upheavals. Seven people, including the chief of Mehsana Municipality, today joined the BJP after quitting the Congress. Mehsana is the rule of the Congress in the municipality. But now the Mehsana Municipality will also go out of the hands of the Congress. At the hands of Deputy CM and senior North Gujarat leader Nitin Patel, members of the Mehsana Municipality Congress joined the BJP.

When the elections were held in Mehsana Municipality, the Patidar movement was at its peak and the result was that the Congress had won 29 seats in Mehsana and the BJP had won 15 seats. But now that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on the wave across the country, under the Prime Minister's vision, even in Mehsana, the municipality members decided to join the BJP's development journey.

Deputy CM Nitin Patel has claimed that congress members have decided to join the BJP in view of the development of Mehsana and Gujarat. In the coming days, some more Congress members will also join the BJP from Mehsana. The deputy CM's claim that Mehsana Municipality will now be ruled by the BJP.
