Husqvarna, which is owned by KTM, has unveiled the new 2022 Svartpilen 125 for foreign markets. The new scrambler-styled motorcycle is based on the KTM 125 Duke, which is also available in India.

The bike has been tweaked for 2022, with modest changes to the outside appearance. Newer graphics and paint choices are also available to keep the overall look fresh. The 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from the KTM 125 Duke is retained. This engine is capable of producing 15bhp and 12Nm of peak torque. The bike is equipped with a six-speed gearbox.

The bike is equipped with 17-inch spoked wheels; however, the higher-spec 250 cc bikes sold in India have alloy wheels. Off-road-oriented knobby rubbers are fitted to the spoke wheels of the 2022 Svartpilen 125. The motorbike is fitted with WP telescopic forks upfront and a mono-shock in the back, while braking is handled by discs on both ends with ByBre callipers and Bosch ABS.

The new Husqvarna Svartpilen 125 has already arrived at international dealerships where it will be sold, but there is no word on when it will be launched in India. In the meanwhile, KTM is preparing to unveil two new bikes for the worldwide market. The 890 Duke R and Duke GP are two of the latest KTM motorcycles. Ahead of the worldwide unveiling, the business has teased the new motorbike.
