Lucknow: Senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader and Rampur MLA Azam Khan has got a major relief from the Allahabad High Court. In fact, the Allahabad High Court has granted him bail after a long time. The court has granted his bail plea. For the last two years, the SP leader has been lodged in Sitapur jail. The case in which Azam Khan has been granted bail is for wrongful possession of wakf board property.
The case was last heard on May 5. The High Court had then reserved its verdict on Azam Khan's bail plea. But now the SP leader has finally been given relief in the matter. He has already been granted bail in 71 cases. Even after getting these bails, SP leader Azam Khan is not going to come out of jail.
In fact, this is because, a few days ago, BJP leader Akash Saksena had filed a complaint against him. In his complaint, he had alleged that Azam Khan had obtained recognition by making a fake certificate of the Rampur Public School building. Now the same case has not been heard in the court yet and Azam Khan's time to come out of jail is getting longer.
