Allu Arjun is one of the most loved actors in the South Industry. The actor is currently in Vizag and shooting for his most awaited film Pushpa: The Rise. The movie hit the theatre screens in 2024. Now his father and producer-distributor Allu Aravind shared he is not just proud to be known as the father of Allu Arjun, but is also proud that he launched his son.
Allu Aravind speaking about his son Allu Arjun and his popularity he said, “This is a proud moment for me. Sometimes, they come to me with their children and say, 'You know who he is? He is the father of your favourite hero, Allu Arjun. Firstly, I am proud as a father. Secondly, I am proud because I introduced him. We still live under one roof and every day we come across each other. So we talk about everything under the sun.”
The veteran director confirmed that his granddaughter, Allu Arjun's daughter Arha, who turned six last year, is set for her debut with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Speaking about this he said it is a small role in Shaakuntalam and “she is very energetic and we are excited."
On the work front, Allu made his debut as a child artiste with the 1985 film Vijetha at the age of three. Later, he had his first film as the lead actor in 2003 - Gangotri. Allu Aravind backed both the films. Allu Arjun once again set to play much-loved character Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler from the Seshachalam Hills of Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. As per some reports, the makers are planning to release the Sukumar directorial as a Makar Sankranthi special release in 2024. In that case, the Telugu film audiences might get a chance to witness the massive box office clash between the 'Mega' cousins Allu Arjun and Ram Charan as the latter's ambitious project RC 15 is also set to release on Makar Sankranthi 2024 release.
