Bhopal: The question of when the statue of Rani Kamalapati will be unveiled near Arch Bridge on Kamlapati Ghat has been arising for many days. The same will be decided on Wednesday about when the statue will be unveiled. In this regard, Mahapaer Alaik Sharma will meet Municipal Commissioner B Vijay Dutta who is waiting for the foreign trip. The intention of Mayor is to meet the Public Relations Minister PC Sharma and Urban Administration Minister Jayawardhan Singh with the Commissioner. After discussing these matters with these two ministers, a date will be set for the statue's unveiling.

The unveiling of this statue has been postponed for a long time. Due to the delay of these idols, Mayor Alaq Sharma expressed his displeasure. The municipal administration had given a time limit of 72 hours for the unveiling of the statue. He had said that if the statue was not unveiled within this time frame, he would unveil it himself. The deadline of the Mayor has passed only on Monday, but he has not yet unveiled the statue.

This statue is made of Ashta metal in Gwalior. The statue is installed on a throne about 12 feet high. The height of this statue is 32 feet whose throne was installed last year. Its value is believed to be around 1 million rupees 96 lakhs. The statue weighs about 17 thousand forts. 60% copper, 20% zinc, 10% tin, 5%  lead and 5% other metal have been used in the construction of this statue. This statue has not been unveiled yet.
