Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has made a big announcement. In which they will not take any admission fees, re-admission and tuition fees from the students for the academic session 2020-21 in the state government school because of Corona. He told that as far as the fees of private schools are concerned, the state government has already gone to court. But the government school is not going to charge any fees for the whole year.
The captain made this announcement on Facebook during the 'Captain to Question' program on Facebook. Under the open school system, CM has announced provisional admission in class 11 for 31000 students of class 10th. Which could not be promoted in the midst of corona crisis due to lack of internal assessment. He said that it has been decided by the state government to give temporary admission to these students in class 11, but it will be necessary to take examinations for them if the situation is normal.
He further informed that he has secured 98 percent marks in class 12th. For a total of 335 such students, a cash reward of Rs. 5100 per student has been announced. This year, after leaving private schools behind, government schools have got their coin in the examination. At the same time, CM said that 94.32 pass percentage of government school is the highest in the history of the school board.
