Patna: A case of theft of 3 Home Guard rifles and 90 cartridges has come to light from Aloli zone of Khagaria district of Bihar. This incident is being told late Tuesday night. As per reports, 5 guards are deployed in Alauli zone. Out of which 3 guard rifles and 5 Vindoliyas have been stolen. Due to the lock in the 2 rifle stand, the thieves did not touch it. At the same time, 3 rifles were kept without lock, which the thieves stolen.

According to media reports, a piece of meat, cigarette and gutkha pouch have been recovered in the zonal premises. It is being told that the guards posted on duty had food and drink with the outsiders. SP Amitesh Kumar has informed that in the night he had received information about the theft of 3 rifles and 90 cartridges from the room of Home Guard jawans of Alauli zone. Alauli Police is investigating the incident and registering FIR and raids are being conducted against the suspects. At the same time, under the leadership of the Sub-Divisional Police Officer, investigation is being done for the disclosure of the incident and the recovery of the rifle. 

In this whole matter, the negligence of the three Home Guard jawans is coming to the fore. It is being told that after eating and drinking with the outsiders, all the home guards had gone to sleep. Meanwhile, the thieves made away with three rifles and 90 cartridges. At present the matter is being investigated. But, a big question is arising on this incident that if the jawans could not even handle their guns, then how will they protect the general public?
