Amazon India has announced to make 50,000 part-time recruitments to meet customer needs in lockdown. These recruitments are happening especially for those who are most susceptible to rush. These recruits will be at Amazon's fulfilment centres and delivery network. These associates will connect with thousands of associates of Amazon India's fulfilment and delivery network and help them to pick up, pack, ship and deliver customer orders.

Amazon India Customer Fulfillment Operations, APAC, MENA and LATAM, Vice President Akhil Saxena said, "One of the things we have learned from the Kovid-19 epidemic is that Amazon and e-commerce are for their customers, small businesses and the country.
