Guwahati: The Ambubachi Mela began on the occasion of the annual bleeding of Goddess Kamakhya in Guwahati district of Assam. The main entrance to the Kamakhya Temple will remain closed for 3 days. Guwahati Nilachal Mountains were filled with devotion to Vasini Kamakhya Dham Maa. On Saturday, Assam CM Sarvanand Sonowal launched the Ambubachi Mela at Sonaram Sports Ground in Guwahati as per the annual festival.
