NEW YORK: A very shocking case from an organ donation center have surfaced. When the investigating officers raided the center, there were also evidences of the smuggling of human organs. The case is reported to be from the Biological Resource Center in Arizona, U.S.A. According to a New York Post report, to raid was carried out at Arizona Resource Center in 2014. Several U.S. states had simultaneously investigated cases of trafficking and selling human organs.

During the raid proceedings, a woman's torso was found with the male head. Documents submitted during the trial have led to many shocking revelations. An FBI agent said in a briefing that the organs of the people in the compartments at the centre were stored, even with no identification marks.

Many had donated their bodies to the Organ Donation Center. 33 such family members have sued the Centre. People were told that the centre would use the body for scientific purposes. According to court documents, the centre used to sell the body of a boy for up to Rs 2 lakh. Arizona Resource Center owner Stephane Gore was sentenced to one year in prison for illegal business in 2015.
