The geographical structure of this city, with a population of 1300 people, is such that it has succeeded in stopping Corona.

Indeed, Point Roberts lies below the 49th parallel line. There is no direct route to reach here. Knowing geography, Point Roberts is called the Payne-Exclave of America. It is the area of a country that can be reached by passing through another country. That is, Point Roberts' route passes through Canada. Therefore, Corona, which is creating a furore in mainland America, has not reached here yet.

This city, isolated from the US, is located approximately 135 miles northwest of Seattle. By the way, it can be reached by private plane and boat, but the number of people using these mediums is very limited. So the visitors coming to Point Roberts have to come here mainly through Canada. Theresa Coe, 57, who works at Point Roberts Marina, says this is probably the safest place in North America. Since the US and Canada closed their borders to everyone due to Corona being wreaked havoc, no outsider could enter the city and the infection could not reach here either.
