America supports Indian farmer protest, deface Mahatma Gandhi’s statue with Khalistan flag

Washington: The agricultural movement in India is getting faster day by day. Thousands of farmers are present in Delhi in protest against agricultural laws. Today farmers have announced to block the Delhi-Jaipur Highway Block by taking out tractor march. The effect of this movement is seen abroad.

Protesters have created a ruckus in support of the peasant movement in Washington, USA. Demonstrated near Mahatma Gandhi's statue near Memorial Plaza near the Indian Embassy in Washington DC. During the demonstration, Mahatma Gandhi's statue was vandalised. The idol was defaced by Khalistani flag. The statue of Mahatma Gandhi was covered with the flag.

The voices are being raised in support of farmers from many countries of the world including America. People have supported the farmers, demanding the withdrawal of agricultural laws. Indians who live in America are also demonstrating in support of farmers. Many of them are associated with Punjab. Many countries of the world have given statements about the peasant movement. India has dismissed every statement as interfering in the internal matter.
